  • Identity and contact details, such as name, billing and delivery address, email and telephone number.
  • Order and transaction details, including products, value, currency, returns and support history.
  • Payment and fraud-prevention data. Full card details are generally handled by payment providers rather than stored by GOLDEEGA.
  • Account details, preferences, wish lists and saved settings.
  • Messages, reviews, survey responses and customer-service records.
  • Technical and usage data, such as IP address, device, browser, pages viewed, referral source and cookie identifiers.
  • Marketing choices and interaction with emails or advertisements.

3. How we use information

  • To process payment, fulfill, ship, track and support orders.
  • To verify identity, prevent fraud, secure accounts and protect the website.
  • To handle returns, refunds, complaints, recalls and legal claims.
  • To operate, troubleshoot, measure and improve the website and customer experience.
  • To communicate service messages and, where permitted, marketing that you requested or may reasonably expect.
  • To maintain business, tax, accounting and compliance records.
  • To comply with law, court orders and lawful regulatory requests.

4. Basis for processing

Depending on the activity and applicable law, we process information to perform a contract with you, take steps at your request before a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests that do not override your rights, protect vital interests, or act with your consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis.

5. Who receives information

We share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers such as payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, website hosts, ecommerce platforms, customer-support tools, analytics providers, marketing providers, accountants, professional advisers, suppliers, warehouses and delivery carriers. A fulfillment supplier may receive your name, delivery address, contact details and order contents so it can ship directly to you.

We may also disclose information in a corporate transaction, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. International transfers

GOLDEEGA operates from Trinidad and Tobago and uses providers or suppliers in other countries, including the United States. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. We take reasonable contractual, technical and organizational steps appropriate to the information and transfer.

7. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including order fulfillment, support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We then delete, anonymize or securely restrict the information where practical.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, so please use a strong unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may ask to access, correct, update or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain use, withdraw consent, or receive information about processing and recipients. Some information must be retained for legal or transactional reasons.

You may unsubscribe from marketing using the link in an email. Service communications about an order or account may continue. Cookie choices are described in our Cookie Policy.

10. Children

The website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly accept orders from persons under 18. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization.

11. Third-party sites

Links to third-party sites are governed by those parties’ privacy practices. We are not responsible for their independent processing.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy to reflect operational, legal or technical changes. The latest version will be posted with its date. Privacy questions or requests may be submitted through our Contact & Complaints page, by email at support@goldeega.com, or by telephone at +1 868 687 2700.

This Policy is intended to reflect applicable privacy principles, including transparency, purpose limitation, proportional collection, reasonable accuracy, safeguards and accountable handling.
